Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Srinagar - Arrival After arrival at the Srinagar airport, meet an representative who helps you with an assisted transfer to the pre-booked hotel. Complete the check-in formalities and savor the welcome drink. Spend the rest of the day in doing activities of your interest. Splurge on shopping in the local market, explore the surrounding area, taste the local renditions and more. Overnight stay. |
Day 2: Srinagar Sightseeing On day 2, have your breakfast and get all set to explore the popular attractions of Srinagar. Visit Mughal garden – a Charbaugh-style well-maintained garden consisting of canals, fountains and small pools. Explore Chashmi-e Shahi or The Royal Spring- this spring has a garden around it that was built way back in the year 1642, Nishat bagh or The Garden of pleasure- this terrace garden is the second largest one in the valley and Shalimar Bagh or Abode of Love-this beautiful garden was built in 1619 by Mughal Emperor Jahangir for his beloved wife Nurjahan. Later, visit the Dal Lake to enjoy Shikara ride, one of the prime attractions of Srinagar. Stay overnight. |
Day 3: Srinagar - Sonamarg - Srinagar Day 3 of the tour is for a day trip to Sonamarg, the ‘gateway to Ladakh’. The enchanting drive from Srinagar to Sonamarg is going to be a memorable one. On reaching, you can spend the day at leisure. Do not miss enjoying a pony ride up to the Thajiwas Glacier, known to be covered with thick snow all round the year (at your own cost). Back to Srinagar in the evening. Overnight stay. |
Day 4: Srinagar - Gulmarg On the 4th day of the tour, embark on an excursion to the mesmerizing hill town of Gulmarg. During the drive, admire the scenic beauty and enjoy the pleasant weather. The summer resort of the valley, Gulmarg offers excellent skiing opportunities in winters and is home to the world’s highest golf course. After arriving, complete the check-in formalities at the hotel and relish sumptuous delicacies during lunch. Post lunch, you have options to choose from. You can either opt for a pony ride or can ride world’s second highest Gulmarg Gondola up to Khilanmarg (at your own cost). Dinner and overnight stay. |
Day 5: Gulmarg - Pahalgam After breakfast, get transferred to Pahalgam, by road. On reaching, check-in at the hotel. The base of Amarnath Yatra, Pahalgam is an extremely enchanting destination, full of lush greenery. After completing all the formalities, spend the day at leisure. You can visit the local market, enjoy a leisure walk or a pony ride. Dinner and overnight stay. |
Day 6: Pahalgam Sightseeing The day after breakfast is at leisure. Indulge in the activities of your interest. If you love adventure activities, try your hand at river rafting in the Lidder River. Enjoy horse ride while enjoying the weather and admire the scenery. You can also visit the nearby attractions such as Betaab Valley, Sheshnag Lake, Aru Valley and more. Dinner and overnight stay in Pahalgam. |
Day 7: Pahalgam - Katra Today, post-breakfast, begin driving to Katra. The drive takes around 7 hours. After reaching Katra, the base of Vaishno devi yatra, check-in at the hotel. The evening is free. Dinner and overnight stay. |
Day 8: Katra (Vaishno Devi Darshan) After an early morning breakfast, begin the 13 km trek to Vaishnoo Devi cave Temple, covering four main points-Banganga, Adhkuwari, Saanjhi Chatt and finally The Bhawan. Once inside the cave temple, you can see that Ma Vaishno Devi resides in the form of 3 pindies or idols-ma Laxmi, Ma Sarswati and Ma kali. After pooja and darshan, start your backward journey back to the hotel. Evening arrival. Dinner and overnight stay. |
Day 9: Katra - Jammu (Departure) Post breakfast, get transferred by road to Jammu airport or Railway station for your onward journey. |
